Under Configure tab > Scoring, you can set the mastery score. Learners have to reach the minimum passing score to complete the course successfully.

Mastery score for overall course

The overall score is calculated by adding the score reached for each section and dividing by the number of sections in the course.

For example, let’s imagine that the mastery score for the overall course is 80%. Even if a learner gets less than 80% for any section(s), but reaches 80% or more in total, the course will be passed successfully.

Mastery score for each section

To successfully pass the course, learners have to achieve the mastery score for each section. For example, let’s imagine that the mastery score per section is 80%. If a learner gets less than 80% for at least one section, the course will be failed.
