Our Story

Throughout the years, we’ve continuously tweaked our product, refined our philosophy, and maintained our commitment to grow sustainably with our global customers and teams at the heart of it all. 

1992

Niam-TMS develops a CD-ROM program to allow users to generate courses without needing to code. They call it EasyGenerator® Suite.

1992

2004

ISM eCompany acquires Niam-TMS and decides to develop Easygenerator as computer-based software.

2004

2006

Easygenerator is relaunched as computer-based software for instructional designers.

2010

Kasper Spiro joins the company as CEO.

2010

2013

With a new CEO onboard, Easygenerator is transformed into a 100% SaaS product with an authoring tool geared toward subject matter experts with no instructional design background. The software as we know it today is launched at DevLearn Las Vegas 2013.

2017

Easygenerator becomes its own private entity with its own management and offices in Rotterdam and Zhytomyr.

2020

Easygenerator continues to grow and opens a new office in Dubai.

Kasper steps down as CEO and transitions into a thought leadership position as Chief Learning Strategist. Jan Kees de Jager is nominated CEO.

The company headquarters moves to Dubai. Simultaneously, the team continues to grow around the world and new hubs are created in Colombia and the Philippines.

Our Co-Founders

Jan Kees de Jager is a well-known technologist and a serial entrepreneur. After dabbling in his first business in his teens, he has spent more than 30 years of his professional career founding and running successful companies in the tech space. Today, he is leading the global team at Easygenerator from sunny Dubai and is dedicated to making knowledge sharing accessible to all.

As a teacher, designer, writer, and manager, he has impacted thousands of organizations by leveraging their employees’ knowledge through a practice called Employee-generated Learning. He shares these insights regularly as a writer, podcast host, and speaker.
