Easygenerator has two main goals for its authoring software:
- “Anyone without any e-Learning background should be able to login and create a course or a quiz”
- “Easygenerator supports the author in creating more effective courses.”
|On top of that, effective courses have a lot to do with proper appliance of didactical principles. That is where I come into the picture. My name is Joke Van den Wouwer, a Belgian student studying educational science at the Catholic University in Leuven (KULeuven), and I’m doing an internship for four months at Easygenerator.
Authoring software with didactical support
The goal of my internship is to strengthen the didactical support within Easygenerator, for better and more effective courses. Didactics describe the best way to impart knowledge and skills. In other words, how to get someone to learn something. It is an important aspect to take into account when making a course. To achieve this goal, I will work on a list with didactical topics and figure out the best ways to support you on all these points. Through the tool, via our didactical coach or via the help and courses.
In the coming weeks I will write blogposts on a couple of these points In these blogposts, I will explain why they are important and what advantages they have for yourself and your learners. This will give you an insight in the didactical support and improvements Easygenerator is planning to build in in the coming months.
