Mark McCarthy – Wollongong First Aid
The challenge
- Wollongong First Aid is a small training organization of only 20 staff in New South Wales, Australia, but it is responsible for training 10,000 students worldwide.
- They needed an e-learning tool that would allow them to deliver content and assess students in line with government regulations while being interactive and engaging.
- As a small and very busy team, the tool needed to be easy to learn and use.
The solution
“What grabbed me [about Easygenerator] initially was the ease of use, the functions, the questions that are available, and how we use them in our courses. […] The interface is so intuitive, you can find things even when new functions or features are put in, they’re not overwhelming, they’re very intuitive.”
As a government regulated training organization, assessments and certifications are an important feature. For Mark, “the questioning system within Easygenerator is changing the way we deliver questions and the program.”
And Wollongong First Aid is seeing positive results.
“The students are more engaged […] Being able to make [the training] less of a burden and making sure they look forward to actually logging on to do their online components.”
