Easygenerator version 8: Create more effective e-learning
In version 8 of easygenerator we
have added some great functionality that will impact the
effectiveness of your e-Learning. Today's learners expect
e-Learning to respond and adapt to their learning needs. With
easygenerator, quiz questions and assessments can be tied to
learning objectives and the course navigation will automatically
change, based on the outcome per assessment. A learner can
strengthen her understanding of a weak subject accordingly and skip
the parts where competence has been achieved. The progress is also
measured per objective, giving the learner a clear understanding of
the results of her efforts.

From the management perspective this is also great. The value of
learning will truly improve. 'Normally', progress is measured based
on the number of pages viewed, now you know the learner has not
only seen the content, she actually understood it. On top of this
you will save a lot of the learners' time, they will now only be
taught what they need to acquire.
How does it work?
The author starts by creating a course and the learning
objectives. Next to the actual content you create assessments that
are tied to the learning objectives. In the assessments you can
create navigation rules like: 'when the learner scores 60% or more
on this objective, navigate to that page or chapter next'. You can
make a combination of rules to organize the navigation; you can
even combine the outcome of multiple objectives to build navigation
rules. You can set different percentages a learner should score on
different objectives. When the established percentages have been
reached for all objectives the course is complete. When you run the
course in a Learning Management System the scores per objective and
the total score will be stored in the LMS.
