Disclosure. EasyCoach is Easygenerator’s own product. We reviewed the other tools from public sources, and where a source is a competing vendor, we say so in the text.
Key takeaways
- Audience breadth is the criterion that splits this field. Among the full entries, two tools are built for practice across every team, one serves revenue teams broadly, and three focus on one role or one industry.
- Second Nature’s own reviewers question its direction. On G2’s comparison page, Second Nature scores 6.4 on “Product Direction (% positive)”, against Hyperbound’s 10.0, and 21 reviews mention inaccurate information from the AI.
- Only Yoodli and Rapport publish prices. Both offer a free way in. Every other tool here, Second Nature included, keeps its pricing off its website.
- Bigtincan no longer sells on its own. Vector Capital combined Bigtincan with Showpad under the Showpad brand in October 2025, so a Bigtincan purchase now runs through Showpad.
Three things push teams to replace Second Nature
Second Nature is an AI roleplay platform, founded in Tel Aviv in 2018, that lets sales and customer-facing teams practice conversations with AI avatars and get scored feedback. Reps hold live conversations, record webcam pitches for AI scoring, and practice slide presentations. Its G2 profile lists 24 supported languages.
Its review record is strong. It holds the largest G2 review base of any dedicated roleplay tool in this comparison, at 4.7 out of 5 from 438 reviews.
Three reasons still come up when L&D teams look elsewhere.
The AI does not always follow the learner. 21 G2 reviews mention inaccurate information from the AI. An Outdoo review of G2 feedback, written by a competing vendor, also found a reviewer who said the AI expected answers phrased in one specific way rather than how a rep would naturally respond.
Reviewers doubt the roadmap. G2’s comparison page scores Second Nature at 6.4 on “Product Direction (% positive)”, against 10.0 for Hyperbound, and G2 notes that reviewers preferred Hyperbound’s direction.
Scenarios and scoring center on sales. Second Nature’s features, from pitch certification to leaderboards, are designed around sellers, and its pricing is quote only.
How we evaluated Second Nature alternatives
We scored each tool on four criteria. The same four criteria run through the comparison table and the sub-headings inside every entry below.
Audience breadth. Which teams the product is built for, from one role in one industry to every team with a hard conversation. This is the criterion that separates the field most clearly.
Practice modality. How learners practice, whether by voice, text, avatar video, webcam recording, or screen simulation.
Scenario authoring. Who builds the scenarios, from what material, and how long it takes.
Pricing model. How the vendor charges, whether it publishes a price, and how total cost behaves as the number of learners grows.
How we graded audience breadth
The High, Medium, and Low bands in the table are ours. High means the product is designed for practice across sales, service, leadership, and other internal roles. Medium means it serves several customer-facing roles, usually inside a revenue team. Low means it focuses on one role, such as outbound sales, or one industry, such as pharma.
A Low grade is not a weakness for a buyer who only needs that one role. It tells you how far the license stretches.
What we deliberately did not score
We did not score avatar realism. Vendors describe their own avatars as the most lifelike available, nobody measures that independently, and some learners prefer voice without a face on screen.
We also did not score live-call analytics, since it matters to sales operations more than to the practice decision this article covers.
Ownership disclosure
EasyCoach is our own product, and Easygenerator publishes this article. We reviewed the other seven tools without input from their vendors, using their public G2 profiles, their own websites, and named third-party comparisons. G2 figures were checked in October 2026. Several comparisons we cite come from competing vendors, including Outdoo, PitchMonster, Exec, Digital Humans, and SalesArmor, and we name them as vendors where we use them.
What we left out and why
Six tools get full entries and two get short ones. Some familiar names are missing.
- PitchMonster and Outdoo AI are credible sales roleplay tools outside this shortlist, and we cover PitchMonster in our Hyperbound alternatives comparison
- Allego, Highspot, and Seismic are full enablement suites, and we compare them in our Mindtickle alternatives guide
- General chat assistants can improvise a roleplay when prompted, and they keep no scores, rubrics, or records, so they answer a different question
Which Second Nature job you are replacing
Teams leave Second Nature for different reasons, and the right replacement depends on which one is yours.
Replacing Second Nature with practice for every team
Sales is one of several teams that need practice. Support, managers, and new hires have hard conversations too, and you want one tool for all of them.
Best fit for. EasyCoach or Yoodli.
Replacing Second Nature with another sales tool
Your practice need is sales, and you want stronger call realism, a different contract, or practice inside a wider enablement suite.
Best fit for. Hyperbound or Mindtickle.
Replacing Second Nature with an industry specialist
Your conversations sit under regulation, such as pharma detailing or banking disclosures, and you need compliance scoring built in.
Best fit for. Quantified AI or Zenarate.

Replacing Second Nature with practice for every team
1. EasyCoach
EasyCoach is an AI roleplay practice tool from Easygenerator that lets employees rehearse real workplace conversations before they happen. Learners practice by voice or text against an AI counterpart and get feedback after every attempt.
Second Nature’s most common G2 complaint is inaccurate information from the AI, raised in 21 reviews. EasyCoach builds each roleplay from the documents your team uploads and measures every attempt against the standard your team sets.
Audience breadth
High. The EasyCoach page lists sales and negotiation, leadership and people management, customer support, onboarding, product training, and cross-functional skills, so sales is one use case among several.
Practice modality
Voice or text, in more than 70 languages, with voice in 40 of them. The AI counterpart pushes back, hesitates, and changes the subject the way the real person would.
Scenario authoring
Built from your documents in minutes. An author describes the conversation, who is in it, and what a good outcome looks like, then uploads the team’s own documents, and AI turns that into a roleplay.
Pricing model
Not published. The EasyCoach page offers a demo rather than a price list.
Standout features
- Scenarios built in minutes from your own playbooks and policies
- Feedback after every attempt, measured against the standard your team sets
- An AI counterpart that pushes back, hesitates, and changes the subject
- Every attempt saved, so learners can see what changed since the last one
- Visibility your organization controls, down to an aggregate skill score only
Pros
- Scenarios come from your own documents rather than generic templates
- One tool covers support, leadership, and onboarding as well as sales
- No booking, no waiting, and no limit on attempts
- Learners can practice in a different language from the one the scenario was written in
Cons
- The EasyCoach page lists no avatars, webcam pitches, slide practice, or leaderboards
- A far smaller review base than Second Nature’s 438 G2 reviews
- No published pricing
Best for
- L&D teams that own practice for support, managers, and sales together
- Organizations where coaching quality varies by manager
- Service and support teams that sales tools overlook
- Multi-region teams that need many languages
Pricing. Easygenerator does not publish EasyCoach pricing. You can request a demo on the EasyCoach page.
G2 rating. EasyCoach has no standalone G2 profile yet. Easygenerator, which builds it, holds 4.7 out of 5 from 175 reviews, and those reviews cover the authoring platform.
Equity Trust Company used this approach to take pressure off its sales managers. William Salm, Learning and Development Specialist, built more than 70 roleplays around the client scenarios new hires found hardest, including a multi-form process for setting up limited liability companies. Manager coaching time fell from about 15 hours a week to about 5.
2. Yoodli
Yoodli is an AI communication coaching platform that gives private, real-time feedback on how people speak, including pacing, filler words, and conciseness. It adds AI roleplays for sales pitches, manager conversations, interviews, and presentations.
Yoodli’s difference from Second Nature is its focus on delivery. Where Second Nature scores what a rep says against a sales rubric, Yoodli also measures how they say it.
Audience breadth
High. Yoodli covers sales pitch certification, interview preparation, and manager training for conversations such as performance reviews and conflict resolution, as well as public speaking, according to a comparison by Exec, a competing vendor.
Practice modality
Voice and video with live delivery feedback. Yoodli tracks speaking speed, filler words, and sentence patterns during practice and shows progress over time.
Scenario authoring
Custom roleplays and rubrics. Yoodli’s pricing page says Team and Enterprise plans include unlimited custom roleplays built around your sales methodology and onboarding paths. PitchMonster, a competing vendor, states on a comparison page that Yoodli offers extra help with roleplay creation only to enterprise customers.
Pricing model
Free plan plus paid plans. Yoodli’s pricing page lists a free Starter plan, Pro at US$8 per month and Advanced at US$20 per month, both billed annually, and Team and Enterprise plans by demo.
Standout features
- Real-time feedback on pacing, filler words, and conciseness
- AI roleplays for sales, managers, and interviews
- Unlimited custom roleplays on Team and Enterprise plans
- SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR compliance, according to Yoodli
Pros
- A free Starter plan lets individuals start without a contract
- Published prices for individual plans
- Covers presentations and interviews as well as sales
- Yoodli reports that Google used it to train and certify more than 15,000 sales reps
Cons
- Only 8 G2 reviews behind the 4.7 score
- PitchMonster, a competing vendor, argues that Yoodli grades delivery more than selling
- Team and Enterprise pricing needs a demo
Best for
- Teams that want to improve how people present and speak
- Sales certification on new talk tracks
- Manager and interview practice alongside sales
- Organizations that want a free starting point
Pricing. Free Starter plan, Pro at US$8 and Advanced at US$20 per month billed annually, and Team and Enterprise plans by demo, per Yoodli’s pricing page.

3. Hyperbound
Hyperbound is an AI sales roleplay platform, founded in San Francisco in 2023, that lets sales development and account executive teams practice cold calls and discovery calls against AI buyers. It also scores real recorded calls.

Scenario authoring
Buyer personas from a customer profile in minutes. Teams describe the prospect’s role, company, and personality, and Hyperbound generates the bot, with custom scorecards for each scenario.

4. Mindtickle
Mindtickle is a revenue enablement platform that combines sales training, AI roleplay, content management, coaching, digital sales rooms, and conversation intelligence. It is the most widely reviewed product in this comparison.
Mindtickle replaces Second Nature by absorbing it. Roleplay becomes one module inside a suite that also handles onboarding, content, and live-call analysis.
Audience breadth
Medium. Mindtickle serves revenue teams, including sales, partners, and sales managers, with deep Salesforce integration.
Practice modality
Voice and text roleplay against AI buyers, in 19 languages according to Mindtickle, scored against custom rubrics.
Scenario authoring
Admin-built roleplays. Enablement teams build scenarios in the platform, and Mindtickle can assign practice automatically when a deal reaches a set CRM stage.
Pricing model
Quote only. Buyer data cited by competing vendor Outdoo puts average contracts between US$47,000 and US$82,000 a year.

6. Zenarate
Zenarate is an AI simulation and coaching platform for frontline and contact center teams in compliance-heavy industries, such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, and telecommunications.

Two more Second Nature alternatives worth a look
Rapport and Bigtincan suit narrower needs.
7. Rapport
What it is. Rapport is an AI avatar roleplay platform, spun out of Speech Graphics, that creates 3D digital characters who listen, respond, and move in real time, for teams in L&D, sales enablement, customer experience, and marketing.
Best for. Teams that want avatar practice like Second Nature’s at a published price, and teams that want to embed an avatar into their own learning experiences without code.
Why it is in the second tier. Rapport’s G2 marketplace listing shows a free trial, Pro at US$19 per month, Business at US$99 per month, and Enterprise on request. Its G2 seller page shows 4.6 out of 5 from only 6 reviews.
8. Bigtincan, now part of Showpad
What it is. Bigtincan is a sales readiness platform, best known for Brainshark’s video training and its RolePlayAI tool, that Vector Capital, its owner since April 2025, combined with Showpad under the Showpad brand in October 2025.
Best for. Field sales teams that want content, training, and practice from one vendor.
Why it is in the second tier. Bigtincan no longer operates as an independent vendor, so a new purchase runs through Showpad. Its Bigtincan Readiness profile holds 4.4 out of 5 from 617 G2 reviews.

When Second Nature remains the right choice
Second Nature combines avatar conversations, webcam pitch scoring, slide presentation practice, and an AI course builder in one tool. If you want certification-style practice for a large sales team, few tools here package it as completely.
Customers point to how little effort setup takes. Michael Martin, Senior Director of Sales Enablement at Calix, described building scenarios in a Second Nature customer webinar with a blunt “an eighth-grader could do it.”
The University of Houston offers a view from the classroom. Its Bauer College has used Second Nature since Spring 2024 in its Program for Excellence in Selling, and associate professor Johannes Habel, who studies AI roleplay software, told the university, “What we see is that students practice repeatedly.” According to Second Nature, his team has also analyzed its data from a 6,000-person sales organization.
Second Nature also has the deepest evidence base of the dedicated practice tools in this comparison, at 438 G2 reviews. For a buyer who needs proof from comparable companies, that matters more than a higher score on a thin profile.
What happens to your Second Nature scenarios when you switch
Your scenario library is easier to rebuild than it looks.
Scenarios, avatars, and score history do not transfer between vendors. Start from the material your scenarios came from, such as call scripts, objection handlers, and product guides. In EasyCoach, you describe the conversation, upload those documents, and AI turns them into a roleplay in minutes.
Start small. Rebuild the five or ten scenarios your reps use most, run them alongside Second Nature for a few weeks, and compare practice volume and scores before the renewal date.
Final thoughts
Second Nature does sales certification well, and its review base is the deepest of any dedicated practice tool in this comparison. Its G2 reviewers’ most common complaint is inaccurate information from the AI, and its “Product Direction (% positive)” score on G2 trails Hyperbound’s.
Count the people who need practice. If the list ends at sales, Second Nature or Hyperbound will serve you well. If it includes support, managers, and new hires, pick a tool built for all of them.
