The best Skillsoft CAISY alternatives for enterprise L&D teams in 2026

Skillsoft CAISY is licensed through Percipio, and the platform’s G2 rating of 4.1 from 106 reviews covers more than CAISY alone. Which alternative fits depends on whether you need standalone practice, a sales-specific tool, or a different content library.

Disclosure. EasyCoach is Easygenerator’s own product. We reviewed the other tools from public sources, including Skillsoft’s documentation and G2’s pricing page for Percipio, and where a source is a competing vendor, we say so in the text.

Key takeaways

  • CAISY is part of Skillsoft Percipio, not a separate purchase. Skillsoft’s admin documentation says CAISY content is licensed with its Expert collections or Leadership Development Program, and G2’s pricing page lists CAISY inside every Percipio plan.
  • The alternatives fall into three groups. EasyCoach, Second Nature AI, Quantified AI, Hyperbound, Zenarate, and Rapport are standalone roleplay tools. Mindtickle bundles roleplay into a revenue enablement platform. Go1 replaces Skillsoft’s content library and lists no conversation simulator in its published materials.
  • Scope differs more than features. CAISY covers workplace conversations such as customer service and difficult conversations for L&D. Second Nature AI, Quantified AI, and Hyperbound focus on sales, and Zenarate focuses on contact centers.
  • Independent review evidence is uneven. Mindtickle has 2,400 G2 reviews and Second Nature AI has 438, while Quantified AI has 16 and Rapport has 6. Skillsoft’s G2 rating covers the whole Percipio platform because CAISY is not rated separately.
  • Only Rapport publishes roleplay prices. Hyperbound lists a free tier, EasyCoach is a flat fee by quote, and the others quote on request.

Why teams look for Skillsoft CAISY alternatives

CAISY is Skillsoft’s AI conversation simulator. Skillsoft’s documentation describes it as an app where learners practice difficult conversations by chatting with an AI coach, and learners can switch between voice and chat during a session. Creators build scenarios in Skillsoft’s LX Design Studio, add company documents as knowledge sources, and score learners against evaluation criteria they can edit. Skillsoft’s admin FAQ says each scenario opens with an AI-generated video avatar, scores learners on four standard criteria with the scenario objective weighted at 70 percent, and rates them from Novice to Advanced. Admins can report on CAISY activity in Percipio through the Learner Activity and Content Access reports. Microsoft’s Learning Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot also lists Skillsoft CAISY as a role play provider, and its Skillsoft CAISY page says the integration requires an active Percipio subscription with the CAISY entitlement.

What CAISY does well. Skillsoft’s FAQ lists coaching, conflict resolution, stakeholder negotiation, HR conversations, and customer complaints among its use cases, and learners can set the counterpart to act defensive, dismissive, or critical, among other behaviors, according to Skillsoft’s AI settings documentation. Four compliance simulations are available to customers who license Skillsoft Compliance content and access it in the Skillsoft Platform library, though not in the Percipio Compliance interface. CAISY simulations are available in many languages. Skillsoft says Percipio has been authorized under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) since March 2022 and that the authorization covers CAISY, citing a January 2024 change request. CAISY content can also run in another learning management system (LMS) that supports practice content. Skillsoft also announced in June 2025 that CAISY would reach support teams inside Salesforce, through CAISY for AppExchange and CAISY for Agentforce on AgentExchange, an agent action that, according to the release, will assess real customer interactions using Skillsoft’s custom conversation rubrics.

Four traits push some teams toward alternatives.

Suite dependence. CAISY is licensed and managed through Percipio, although its content can also reach other LMSs. Skillsoft’s FAQ says that if your LMS supports practice content, you get the AI simulator content by default, and tracking can flow back to Skillsoft. What stays tied to Percipio is the license, scenario authoring in LX Design Studio, and CAISY reporting. Skillsoft’s admin FAQ says CAISY content is licensed with any one of the Expert collections or the Skillsoft Leadership Development Program. G2’s pricing page for Percipio lists CAISY inside each plan, with Individual at $25 per seat per month, Teams at $20 per seat per month for up to 300 seats, and Enterprise by quote. That makes CAISY reachable without an enterprise contract, but only as part of a Percipio plan. G2’s page also notes a free trial.

Authoring path. Scenarios are built in LX Design Studio, which Skillsoft’s April 2026 release notes say is available to customers who have purchased the Percipio Platform. Skillsoft announced general availability on September 10, 2026, and says 80 percent of beta customers designed and published a custom CAISY simulation in about 15 minutes under test conditions. Creators need LX Design Studio privileges, and publishing needs separate publishing privileges. Published simulations reach learners in Percipio through search, channels, or journeys. Skillsoft also offers CAISY for You, where its Professional Services team builds customized scenarios. One older admin page still calls custom CAISY creation a limited preview program.

Data collection setting. Skillsoft’s AI settings documentation says that when the AI optimization and improvement setting is on, Skillsoft collects the learner side of CAISY conversations to improve the product. Skillsoft’s AI features table lists both CAISY settings as on by default, and the FAQ says the optimization setting is off by default for the EU data center. The FAQ says Skillsoft stores conversation data per the terms in the customer’s contract.

Platform-level ratings. Skillsoft’s G2 rating of 4.1 out of 5 comes from 106 reviews of the whole Percipio platform, so CAISY has no independent rating of its own.

For organizations already standardized on Skillsoft, these same traits are strengths, because practice, content, and reporting sit in one place.

1. EasyCoach

EasyCoach is Easygenerator’s AI roleplay tool, sold standalone or bundled with an existing Easygenerator plan. Learners practice conversations by voice or text, and an author builds each scenario from company documents.

What it does well. EasyCoach is a flat fee with unlimited roleplays, sessions, and learners, and no per-seat charges. Authors define the AI character, the context, and the evaluation criteria, and a June 2026 product update added pass or fail thresholds to roleplay grading. Admins can assign roleplays and track progress by team, and an EasyCoach Assistant can build a roleplay from a chat. Learners reach a roleplay through a link, an embed in an Easygenerator course, or a platform such as SharePoint or Slack, so practice does not depend on a content suite. EasyCoach has no standalone G2 profile yet. Easygenerator, which builds it, holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating on G2 from 175 reviews, and those reviews cover the authoring platform.

William Salm, Learning and Development Specialist at Equity Trust Company, a financial services firm with more than 500 employees, used to depend on sales leaders to run live roleplays with new hires. He built more than 70 EasyCoach roleplays from real scripts and the language of top performers, and 40 to 50 are now in active use. Managers cut the time they spend coaching new hires from about 15 hours a week to about 5, and ramp-up fell from about 8 weeks to 4 or 5. The team also reviews roleplay data to find gaps in its own training, such as the process for setting up limited liability companies, which new hires struggled to explain. The full customer story has the details.

What it doesn’t do. EasyCoach is a practice tool, not a content library. Teams that want Skillsoft’s catalog of courses, certifications, and learning paths still need a separate content source. It does not use 3D avatars.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. CAISY is licensed through Percipio and built in LX Design Studio. EasyCoach runs on its own, so a sales, support, leadership, or operations team can use it without owning a learning suite.

Who should pick it. Teams that want conversation practice across several departments without a suite commitment, and want authors to build scenarios from their own scripts.

2. Second Nature AI

Second Nature AI uses 3D animated avatars to run certification-style sales roleplay, and it also markets customer support use cases.

What it does well. Second Nature AI supports more than 24 languages and integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoom. It holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating on G2 from 438 reviews, the largest review base among the standalone roleplay tools here.

What it doesn’t do. Third-party analysis reports an implementation time of about two months and an annual minimum of around $20,000 on top of per-seat fees. Its scenarios and scoring center on sales, so it is not built to replace a broad learning catalog.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. CAISY covers general workplace conversations inside a learning suite. Second Nature AI is a standalone platform focused on sales, with avatar-based practice and links to Salesforce and HubSpot.

Who should pick it. Large sales organizations that want certification-style practice across many languages. We compare EasyCoach and Second Nature AI directly in a separate article.

3. Quantified AI

Quantified AI sells AI roleplay and coaching to commercial teams in regulated industries, using video avatars for simulated customer conversations.

What it does well. The platform targets life sciences, financial services, and insurance. Its listing on GetApp describes six AI agents on one shared engine, covering roleplay, readiness coaching, field coaching, compliance, authoring, and insights.

What it doesn’t do. Quantified AI does not publish pricing. Its G2 profile shows 4.5 out of 5 from only 16 reviews, a small sample for an enterprise platform.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. CAISY is general-purpose and tied to Percipio. Quantified AI is specialized for regulated sales teams and runs as its own platform.

Who should pick it. Commercial teams in regulated industries that need compliance-oriented practice. We compare EasyCoach and Quantified AI directly in a separate article.

4. Hyperbound

Hyperbound is an AI sales roleplay platform that turns ideal customer profile descriptions into AI buyers for cold-call and discovery practice.

What it does well. Hyperbound offers a free tier, and its pricing page says paid Practice and Perform licenses are priced per user. It holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating on G2 from 40 reviews. Michael O., Senior Director of Sales Strategy at ALKU, wrote in a G2 review dated July 11, 2025, that Hyperbound lets reps “simulate objection scenarios repeatedly.” ALKU started with 25 licenses and added 50 more within a few months.

What it doesn’t do. Hyperbound is built for sales calls only, and its paid licenses are quoted rather than published. G2 reviewers mention occasional response delays from the AI buyers.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. CAISY’s scenarios span workplace conversations. Hyperbound’s are for outbound and inbound sales calls.

Who should pick it. Sales development reps and account executives who want cold-call and discovery practice. We compare EasyCoach and Hyperbound directly in a separate article.

5. Mindtickle

Mindtickle is a revenue enablement platform. AI roleplay is one module inside a larger system for content, coaching, and conversation intelligence.

What it does well. Scale is the clearest strength. Mindtickle holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating on G2 from 2,400 reviews, the largest review base in this comparison.

What it doesn’t do. Mindtickle does not publish pricing, and G2 reviewers describe a learning curve for new users. Roleplay is one feature among many, not the product’s center.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. Like CAISY, Mindtickle’s roleplay sits inside a larger platform. The difference is the buyer, since Mindtickle serves revenue teams and sales enablement while Skillsoft serves L&D.

Who should pick it. Revenue organizations that want roleplay, content, and coaching in one enablement platform. We compare EasyCoach and Mindtickle directly in a separate article.

6. Zenarate

Zenarate describes itself as an AI frontline performance platform. Its Perform product runs simulations across voice, chat, video, email, and face-to-face interactions, Analyze reviews real customer conversations, and Evolve tests AI agents.

What it does well. Contact-center depth is the draw, with a stated focus on financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, and business process outsourcing. Zenarate holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating on G2 from 45 reviews. Susana C. wrote in a seller-invited G2 review dated October 7, 2026, that “creating new scenarios becomes very simple” once you understand the process.

What it doesn’t do. Zenarate does not publish pricing, and G2 reviewers report an average implementation time of three months. Zenarate stated in 2023 that it supports 79 languages, although its G2 listing names nine.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. CAISY includes customer service scenarios inside a learning suite. Zenarate adds software simulation and conversation intelligence for contact centers.

Who should pick it. Contact centers and regulated customer service teams that want practice tied to live performance data. We compare EasyCoach and Zenarate directly in a separate article.

7. Go1

Go1 is a learning content aggregator. It replaces what Skillsoft sells as content, not what CAISY does.

What it does well. Go1 says it partners with more than 250 content providers, and Go1 AI helps admins search, build playlists, and curate programs. In January 2026, Go1 announced Morgan, an agent that delivers learning inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. Go1 holds a 4.3 out of 5 rating on G2 from 67 reviews.

What it doesn’t do. Go1’s published product pages and announcements list no AI conversation simulator. Go1 does not publish pricing.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. A team that leaves Percipio for Go1 gains a multi-provider content catalog but loses CAISY’s conversation practice, so it would pair Go1 with a roleplay tool.

Who should pick it. L&D teams that want to swap Skillsoft’s content library for a multi-provider catalog and add roleplay separately.

8. Rapport

Rapport, from Speech Graphics Ltd., is an AI avatar platform for roleplay training. It is a different product from the consumer conversation-practice app that shares its name.

What it does well. Rapport’s avatars respond in real time with 3D facial animation, and Rapport’s platform page states a response latency of about 50 milliseconds. The same page lists single sign-on (SSO) and SCORM support, deployment through an LMS or an embedded frame, and cohort analytics, plus templates for sales objections, customer service, leadership conversations, and compliance. Pricing is published. The 14-day trial is free, Pro costs $19 a month for 100 usage minutes, Business costs $99 a month for 500 usage minutes, and extra minutes cost $0.21 each.

What it doesn’t do. Usage-minute pricing means cost rises with practice time. Rapport’s G2 profile shows 4.6 out of 5 from only 6 reviews. It is a scenario practice tool without a content catalog.

Compared with Skillsoft CAISY. CAISY opens each scenario with an AI-generated video avatar, and learners then type or speak. Rapport’s avatars respond in real time with 3D facial animation, and it can be delivered through an existing LMS by SCORM, so a team can keep its LMS and swap only the practice layer.

Who should pick it. L&D and sales teams that want lifelike avatar conversations and a published, usage-based price.
