Easygenerator is a cloud-based e-learning authoring tool that L&D teams and subject-matter experts use to create company-tailored training at scale. Authors build courses, quizzes, and assessments with built-in AI, then publish them to any LMS through manual or dynamic SCORM, xAPI, or native integrations. More than 2,000 companies use it.
This page explains what Easygenerator does, who it fits, what it costs, and how it compares with other authoring tools.
Key takeaways
- Easygenerator is an authoring tool, not an LMS. Teams build courses in Easygenerator and deliver them through their own LMS, a native integration, or a private link.
- Subject-matter experts are the main authors. The platform is influenced by Employee-generated Learning, where the people who hold the knowledge create the training, and L&D teams maintain quality.
- EasyAI is included in every plan. The EasyAI Agent and Course Builder turn documents and prompts into courses at no extra cost.
- Pricing is per author. Pro costs $1,499 per year, Team starts at $7,495 per year for five authors, and Enterprise has custom pricing.

The Easygenerator suite adds AI, translation, video, and roleplay practice
The core authoring tool sits at the center of the Easygenerator suite. EasyAI comes with every plan, and three paid additions cover translation, video, and practice.
| Tool | What it does | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Easygenerator | Authoring tool for courses, quizzes, and assessments | Core platform |
| EasyAI | AI course creation and edits, with the EasyAI Agent | Included in every plan |
| EasyTranslate | Translation into 70+ languages from one master course | Paid addition to the suite |
| EasyVideo | AI training videos with avatars, voices, and one-click localization | Paid addition to the suite |
| EasyCoach | AI roleplay practice for workplace conversations | Paid addition to the suite |
EasyTranslate exports one SCORM package that holds every language version of a course, so global teams upload one file instead of one per language (product updates, August 2025). Our What is EasyVideo guide covers the video editing tool in detail.
Subject-matter experts build courses without authoring skills
Easygenerator is built for Employee-generated Learning (EGL), an approach where the people closest to the work create and update training. Kasper Spiro created the solution after a course audit at a global company showed that not one course was fully up to date (our story, 2026).
Content blocks and templates replace design work
Authors build courses from content blocks and course templates. They add questions, scenarios, flipcards, and interactive walkthroughs without design or technical skills. Recent releases added questions as content blocks, video inside walkthroughs, and undo and redo (product updates, September 2026).
Co-authors and reviewers work in the same course
Team and Enterprise plans include co-authoring and unlimited reviewers. Reviewers comment inside the course, so feedback stays in one place.
Enterprise plans add version history. Authors save up to 20 versions of a course and roll back to any of them (product updates, May 2026).
EasyAI turns documents and prompts into courses
EasyAI is the AI layer inside Easygenerator, and every plan includes it without an add-on or a forced upgrade (pricing, 2026). Authors stay in control of every output.
The EasyAI Agent edits the whole course through conversation
The EasyAI Agent launched in August 2026. Authors tell the Agent what they need, and it acts across the whole course with didactic best practices built into each output. Authors refine the result through conversation instead of a manual rewrite (product updates, August 2026).
Course Builder converts documents into course drafts
Course Builder turns documents of up to 50 MB into courses. “Convert as-is” keeps the original text, images, and formatting, and “Rewrite with EasyAI” restructures the content without new material (product updates, February 2026). EasyAI also writes knowledge check questions from a typed or spoken prompt, and it generates images.
PowerPoint decks and Articulate Rise courses become editable
Authors upload PowerPoint presentations to start new courses. Easygenerator also imports SCORM packages from Articulate Rise and rebuilds them as editable content blocks, so teams that move tools keep their courses (product updates, December 2025).
Easygenerator publishes to any LMS through SCORM, xAPI, and native integrations
Easygenerator exports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and xAPI packages that work in almost any LMS. It also connects directly to LMSs and LXPs through native integrations, with manual and dynamic SCORM (SCORM and xAPI, 2026). With dynamic SCORM, users can export the SCORM file once. Every update made to the original SCORM file gets automatically updated in the LMS.
Native integrations update the LMS without a new upload
Native integrations include Cornerstone, LearnUpon, HowNow, Degreed, and EdCast. An update in Easygenerator reaches every published version in the LMS at once, and learners never see an Easygenerator login screen. Most integrations go live within 24 to 48 business hours (integrations, 2026).
Results reach the LMS at the question level
Easygenerator sends completion status, score, and time spent to the LMS through xAPI statements. Courses published as SCORM 2004 now report results for each question, so teams with an LMS that does not support xAPI still see how learners answered (product updates, September 2026).
Private links share courses without an LMS
Authors share courses through private links that need no learner account, and they track completion without personal data (product updates, January 2026). Authors can also add a password to a link or switch it off at any time (product updates, May 2026).
Admins manage access from their identity provider
Easygenerator connects to SCIM 2.0 identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, and OneLogin. Accounts open and close automatically as people join or leave groups (product updates, August 2026).
Easygenerator pricing starts at $1,499 per year
Easygenerator charges per author, not per learner. The Team and Enterprise plans include unlimited courses and unlimited learners.
| Plan | Price | Authors | Courses and learners | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $1,499 per year ($125 per month, billed annually) | 1 | 10 courses, 100 learners | Course templates, interactive elements, SCORM export, and shareable course links |
| Team | $7,495 per year ($625 per month, billed annually) | Starts at 5 | Unlimited | Co-authoring, unlimited reviewers, results tracking, learner analytics, and one branding setup |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing | Unlimited | Unlimited | LMS integrations, custom branding, a dedicated success manager, and on-demand training |
Prices come from the Easygenerator pricing page in US dollars on October 14, 2026. Easygenerator charges no setup fee, and it offers discounts to educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. EasyTranslate, EasyVideo, and EasyCoach carry their own pricing.
Morningstar and RICOH scaled training with no extra L&D headcount
Morningstar grew from 5,200 to 11,500 employees in six years, and Kevin Seifert, Global Head of Learning and Development, needed to scale training across 34 countries with a small L&D team. Most training ran in person and in English. Morningstar gave employees Easygenerator to create courses, delivered them through Cornerstone, and translated them with EasyTranslate. Today more than 400 internal experts create content, and employees have built over 1,500 courses without a larger L&D team.
“You can put it in someone’s hands, and they can start building courses right away.”
Kevin Seifert, Global Head of Learning and Development at Morningstar.
Ron Schellevis, Director of Learning Design and Technology at RICOH, oversees learning content for a company of 80,000 employees. His team built training in PowerPoint until 2016 and tracked progress across several LMSs in Europe. RICOH made Easygenerator its main authoring tool, moved to Cornerstone as its single LMS, and let employees with the right expertise create their own courses. RICOH has now created more than 3,200 courses, and the L&D team focuses on strategy and quality control.
“If I had to produce the same amount of e-learning without Easygenerator, my team would need to be 4x bigger.”
Ron Schellevis, Director of Learning Design and Technology at RICOH.

Easygenerator fits teams that want experts to create training
Easygenerator suits enterprise L&D teams that want to share course creation with the business while they keep control of quality.
Best for
- Enterprise L&D teams that need more training than a central team can build
- Subject-matter experts with no instructional design background
- Global teams that need one course in many languages
- Organizations that want course updates to reach the LMS without new uploads
Not the right fit
Easygenerator has no public API, so teams that need to automate course creation from their own systems should look elsewhere (integrations FAQ, 2026). Easygenerator also has no LMS of its own. Teams that want authoring and course delivery from one vendor may prefer a tool with a built-in LMS.
Easygenerator compared with other authoring tools
Easygenerator focuses on authoring by subject-matter experts. The other tools below serve instructional designers, PowerPoint users, and frontline teams in different ways.
We reviewed each tool from its own website, help center, and G2 profile on October 14, 2026. We left price out of this table because vendors use different units, such as seats, credits, and authors.
