Disclosure. EasyCoach is Easygenerator’s own product. We reviewed the other tools from public sources, and where a source is a competing vendor, we say so in the text.
Key takeaways
- Zenarate centers on contact centers and frontline teams, and most alternatives center on sales. Zenarate trains and reviews frontline agents in regulated industries. Most tools here serve revenue teams, so decide who needs practice before you compare.
- Practice and live-call review come together in only some tools. Zenarate, Mindtickle, Allego, Outdoo AI, and Hyperbound connect practice to real calls in some form, and Quantified AI does so partly. EasyCoach and Second Nature AI focus on practice sessions.
- Review evidence is uneven. Mindtickle has 2,400 G2 reviews and Allego has 713, while Zenarate has 47 and Quantified AI has 16. EasyCoach has no standalone profile yet.
- Pricing is mostly by quote. Outdoo AI lists a free plan with 60 minutes of credits and a usage-based Flex plan, and EasyCoach is a flat fee with unlimited roleplays. The rest quote on request.
Three reasons teams look beyond Zenarate for practice tools
Zenarate is an AI frontline performance platform for human and AI agents. Its G2 profile lists three products. Perform runs AI simulations across voice, chat, video, email, and face-to-face interactions, Analyze evaluates real customer interactions, and Evolve builds and tests AI agents. Zenarate’s October 2026 announcement names the same three products.
G2’s profile says Zenarate supports enterprises in financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, travel and hospitality, and business process outsourcing. Reviewers like its coaching and ease of use, according to G2’s pros and cons page. Elisha W., an enterprise reviewer, called the platform “incredibly easy to work with” in a five-star review. Zenarate holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 47 reviews.
Three reasons still come up when teams look elsewhere.
It centers on the contact center and regulated frontline teams. G2 places Zenarate in its Call & Contact Center category and lists contact center quality assurance first among its three categories. Teams that also need practice in leadership, onboarding, or internal conversations often want a wider tool.
Pricing is quote only, and rollout takes time. Zenarate does not publish prices. G2 reviewers report an average implementation time of about three months.
Some reviewers want more flexible AI responses. G2’s pros and cons page groups three reviews under inadequate AI capabilities and two under limited flexibility. Brooke C., an enterprise reviewer, wrote in a five-star review that the AI Coach could be “a little more flexible in responses.” Teams with varied scenarios may want to test this in a demo.
How we evaluated Zenarate alternatives on four criteria
We scored each tool on four criteria. The same four criteria run through the comparison table and the sub-headings inside every entry below.
Audience breadth. Which teams the product is built for, from contact-center agents to every team with a hard conversation. This criterion separates the field most clearly.
Scenario authoring. Who builds the scenarios, from what material, and how long it takes.
Live-call link. Whether the product connects practice to real customer calls, such as scoring recorded calls and assigning practice from what it finds.
Pricing model. How the vendor charges, whether it publishes a price, and how total cost behaves as the number of learners grows.
How we graded audience breadth
The High, Medium, and Low bands in the table are ours. High means the product is designed for practice across sales, service, leadership, and other internal roles. Medium means it serves several sales and customer-facing roles. Low means it focuses on one role, such as outbound sales, or one setting, such as the contact center.
A Low grade is not a weakness for a buyer who only needs that one role. It tells you how far the license stretches.
We grade Zenarate the same way as every other tool. It lands at Medium, because G2 describes it as serving customer service, contact centers, and sales teams.
What we deliberately did not score
We did not score call realism. Every vendor here claims its AI customers sound the most real, and nobody measures that independently. Read reviews from teams with your call types instead.
We also did not score telephony or workforce-management integrations. We could not find a public integration list for Zenarate that names automatic call distributor (ACD) or workforce-management systems. We had nothing to compare.
Ownership disclosure
EasyCoach is our own product, and Easygenerator publishes this article. We reviewed the other seven tools without input from their vendors, using their public G2 profiles, their own websites, and named third-party sources. We checked G2 figures in October 2026. Outdoo AI is both a tool in this comparison and a publisher of comparison articles about other tools. We name it as a vendor wherever we use its pricing figures.
What we left out and why
Eight tools get full entries. These are the obvious omissions.
- Contact-center quality assurance and call analytics platforms analyze live calls rather than run practice, so they answer a neighboring question
- Yoodli and Exec are credible roleplay tools outside this shortlist. Our guide to the best AI sales roleplay tools covers them
- More tools for customer-facing teams appear in our guide to the best AI roleplay tools for corporate training
Which Zenarate job you are replacing decides the shortlist
Shortlist EasyCoach or Outdoo AI when practice must reach beyond the contact center floor
Contact-center agents are one of several groups with hard conversations. You want one tool that also covers sales, support, managers, and new hires.
Shortlist Second Nature AI, Hyperbound, or Quantified AI when sellers are the audience
Your need is practice for sellers, and you want a different coaching style, more review evidence, or on-label scoring in a regulated industry.
Shortlist Mindtickle, Allego, or Bigtincan Readiness when roleplay belongs inside a suite
You want roleplay next to content, learning, and call review in one revenue enablement platform.

Replacing Zenarate with practice beyond the contact center floor
1. EasyCoach
EasyCoach is an AI roleplay practice tool from Easygenerator. Employees rehearse real workplace conversations by voice or text and get feedback after every attempt.
Zenarate starts from the contact center floor. EasyCoach starts from a different question, which is who else in your company has a conversation that goes badly without practice.
Audience breadth
High. Teams use EasyCoach for sales, support, leadership, onboarding, and compliance conversations. Contact-center agents are one group among several.
Scenario authoring
Built from your documents. Authors define the situation, the AI character, and the skills to demonstrate. They upload company documents that the AI references during the conversation, according to the help center. Authors can also build a roleplay by chatting with the EasyCoach Assistant, according to Easygenerator’s product updates.
Live-call link
No. EasyCoach covers practice sessions and does not score real calls. Managers see practice frequency, strengths, gaps, and conversational insights at learner, team, and organization level.
Pricing model
Flat fee with unlimited roleplays, sessions, and learners, and no per-seat charges. Pricing is by demo.
Standout features
- Scenarios built from your own policies, scripts, and playbooks
- An AI counterpart that pushes back, hesitates, and changes the subject
- Voice or text practice in more than 70 languages, with 40 newly voice enabled in the August 2026 update
- Roleplays that launch from an LMS through LTI, or sit inside an Easygenerator course exported as SCORM
- Grading with clear evaluation criteria and pass or fail thresholds
Pros
- One tool covers support, sales, leadership, and onboarding practice
- Runs in the browser and needs no telephony or CRM integration to start
- Learners can complete a whole roleplay on their phone browser
- Flat pricing does not rise with each learner or session
Cons
- No scoring of real recorded calls
- The EasyCoach pages list conversation practice only, with no quality assurance, call review, or software simulations
- No published pricing, and no standalone G2 profile yet
Best for
- Organizations where sales, support, and managers all need conversation practice
- L&D teams that want practice to plug into an existing LMS
- Teams that build scenarios from their own policies and scripts
- Customer operations teams that want practice without a contact-center platform integration
Pricing. Easygenerator does not publish EasyCoach pricing. You can request a demo on the EasyCoach page.
G2 rating. EasyCoach has no standalone G2 profile yet. Easygenerator, which builds it, holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating on G2 from 175 reviews, and those reviews cover the authoring platform.
Daan Stobbe, Manager of Training and Development at Odido, leads training at a Dutch telecom provider with about 5,000 employees. His team used to run customer operations roleplays in a classroom, where only one or two agents could practice at a time. EasyCoach now lets the roughly 1,800 customer operations agents practice by voice on their own. Agents repeat each scenario two to three times per session on average. Stobbe says agents “really want to try it again over and over” when a roleplay falls short. Trainers moved from playing the customer to observing, and Odido also uses the scenarios to assess several hiring candidates at once. Odido is still measuring the effect on its main operational metrics, so the customer story reports gains in access and confidence rather than business results.
How we checked. Easygenerator’s EasyCoach page, product updates, and help center, plus its G2 profile, all accessed October 2026.
2. Outdoo AI
Outdoo AI is an AI roleplay and coaching platform for customer-facing teams. Reps practice against AI buyers built from calls, playbooks, and documents, and the same scorecard grades their live calls, according to its G2 profile.
Outdoo AI is the closest alternative on the live-call link, since it applies one scorecard to practice and real calls. It targets revenue and service teams rather than every function.
Audience breadth
Medium. Outdoo AI’s G2 profile says it is built for sales, customer success, support, and claims teams that run structured coaching.
Scenario authoring
Built from real calls, transcripts, playbooks, documents, or a simple prompt, including multi-persona buying committees and video avatars. AI tutors turn playbooks and standard operating procedures into interactive training.
Live-call link
Yes. Outdoo AI states that one scorecard grades both practice and live calls, so teams can see whether training changed real performance.
Pricing model
A Free plan with 60 minutes of credits, a usage-based Flex plan, and an Enterprise plan, according to Outdoo AI’s pricing page.
Standout features
- One scorecard for practice and live calls
- Scorecards aligned to MEDDIC, SPIN, BANT, Challenger, or your own methodology

- Lists SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA on its G2 profile
Cons
- The profile says Outdoo AI supports 120 or more languages, although G2’s language field lists only English
- The customers it names on G2 include insurers and real estate firms, and it names no contact-center outsourcer
- Flex pricing is usage-based, so cost rises with practice volume, and Enterprise pricing is not published
Best for
- Support, customer success, claims, and sales teams that want practice and live-call scoring on one scorecard
- Teams that want a free plan to test AI roleplay first
- L&D teams that need SCORM or xAPI export
Pricing. Outdoo AI’s pricing page lists a Free plan with 60 minutes of credits, a usage-based Flex plan, and an Enterprise plan.

When Zenarate remains the right choice for contact-center agent readiness
Zenarate fits when contact-center agent readiness is the main goal. Per its G2 profile, Perform simulates voice, chat, video, email, and face-to-face interactions, and Analyze evaluates real customer interactions. Its Capterra listing adds software simulations. That puts practice, quality assurance, and coaching in one suite. Zenarate reports that Sallie Mae cut employee attrition by 32%, according to its customer stories page. It also reports $4.25 million in annual productivity gains at a top-5 Canadian bank, from faster speed to proficiency and reduced average handle time.
Analyst firm Brandon Hall Group says the platform can simulate any application without needing IT integration. That helps agents practice the software steps of a call, which a conversation-only tool does not cover.
If your contact center measures training by call accuracy, compliance, and handle time, a tool built around those measures will fit better. Some organizations run both. L&D and sales teams practice in EasyCoach, while the contact center floor stays in Zenarate.
Where EasyCoach is not the right fit
EasyCoach is a conversation practice tool, not a contact-center suite. Its product pages list conversation practice only, with no real-call scoring, quality assurance, or software simulations. It has no standalone G2 profile yet, and pricing is by demo.
Choose Zenarate if your main goal is agent ramp time. It puts practice, call review, and coaching in one system for contact centers.
What happens to your Zenarate simulations when you switch
Simulation scripts, scorecards, and score history do not transfer between vendors. Start from the material behind them, such as call scripts, quality assurance forms, and policy documents. In EasyCoach, an author describes the conversation, uploads those documents, and AI turns them into a roleplay.
You can also keep Zenarate on the contact center floor and add a broader tool for everyone else. Sales, managers, and new hires then practice in EasyCoach.
Choose a Zenarate alternative by who needs practice
Zenarate does one job well, which is preparing and reviewing contact-center agents. That focus is also why teams look further.
If your practice needs stop at the contact center floor, keep it. If sales, leaders, and new hires need practice too, add a broader tool or replace Zenarate with one.
