Joop Wijn named CEO of Easygenerator to lead the company’s next growth phase.
Dubai, UAE– October 2023 – Easygenerator appoints Joop Wijn as CEO. He succeeds Jan Kees de Jager, who served as CEO since January 2022 and will remain involved with the company.
Joop brings over two decades of board-level experience across financial services and technology. He served as State Secretary of Finance and Minister of Economic Affairs in the Dutch government between 2002 and 2007. He later held executive roles at Rabobank and ABN AMRO, where he spent eight years as a member of the Managing Board and led Corporate Banking. Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy and Risk Officer at Adyen, the Amsterdam-listed payments platform, where he played a central role in its initial public offering (IPO) process and the acquisition of its banking license.
Joop also serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at a.s.r. verzekeringen and as a member of the Supervisory Board at NIBC Bank.
Easygenerator has grown to a scale-up with more than 2,000 customers across the globe. His background in enterprise growth, listed companies, and board governance fits well with the company’s next phase.
Easygenerator has provided e-learning authoring solutions since 2013. The platform lets employees create company-tailored training at scale without instructional design expertise, an approach the company calls Employee-generated Learning (EGL). The Rotterdam and Dubai-based company serves customers in over 50 countries, including DHL, Danone, and Unilever.
