Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.
Easygenerator app uses HTTP connection at the moment. That’s why when you upload Easygenerator courses to Moodle or any other LMS or to a website that uses HTTPS connection, the images used in courses may fail to display. The solution is to:
- go to https://live.easygenerator.com/ (via https, not http);
- re-insert images from the library (or simply change http to https for the links in the image properties);
- re-publish the course.
If you want to embed your Easygenerator course into a website that uses HTTPS connection, you just have to change HTTP to HTTPS in the course link.
