Easygenerator is clearly gaining a lot of traction. Not only did we welcome user number 2000 (in 96 countries) for our free edition, we are also mentioned a couple of times in important publications. We are in Graig Weiss top 10, we are (according to Joe Ganci) ‘One of the right tools for the job, and we made the top 10 of the top 5 online colleges. Not a bad run.
Graig Weiss brought out the first version of his top 10 list of authoring tools “ New E-Learning rankings: Authoring tools on number 7″
“Proof that you do not need to be based in the states to have a very cool product. Features include adaptive learning, collaboration, scenario builder, SCORM, question pool/assessments and SaaS.”
Joe Ganci wrote an article on ” Choosing the right tool for the job: Update 2013″, he has only four saas authoring systems on his list and we are one of them:
“easygenerator hails from the Netherlands and has been making great strides into the North American market, already having conquered much of Europe. It uses an interface that is intuitive, and its most important claim is the ability to help you create adaptive learning, meaning that you can tailor your learning to how well the learner is performing along the way. It has a free version you can try before you buy and is well worth your time to try. The price is $1,250 a year for one license, and they offer volume discounts.”
Top 5 online colleges
Not the least names in the business: Kaplan University, Walden University, Capella University, Colorado technical University and Ivy bridge college. They have put us on number 2 in their elearning authoring software listing, only proceeded after Evernote and the only eLearning authoring tool on the list:
“EasyGenerator is an eLearning authoring software that helps the creators of online courses and other educational tools build attractive and informative content that can be accessed via computer.“
